History Details For - Fort Clinton and Fort Montgomery10/6/1777These 2 forts are located just south of West Point in New York. The forts were captured on October 6th by Sir Henry Clinton in an effort to relieve the pressure on General John Burgoynes troops at Saratoga.Links:
