Basic Editing - Removing Redeye

In another Tips & Techniques feature we reviewed what redeye is and some ways to prevent it. [refer to Redeye Info.] Dealing with Redeye is inevitable. The low-end version of ArcSoft's PhotoStudio for Canon includes a tool to get rid of redeye.

- First, select the redeye tool ().

- Next, click on the areas that you want to remove the redeye from.

The images below illustrate how easy this is for you to do. The eye on the left is the 'before' eye and the eye on the right is the same eye, 'after' using the redeye tool. The time that it took to do this was less than a minute. Please note, the eyes were enlarged to make it a little easier to see the impact.
